**Position Summary:
**
CNC Machinist required performing both setup and running on both vertical milling machine and lathes. The candidate will be performed under limited supervision in a timely manner to manufacture medium to small production runs mostly on aluminum with acceptable quality and output. Parts are to be manufactured in the allotted time while maintaining a high degree of quality control while being able to operate all machinery safely.

**Responsibilities:
**
Responsible for maintaining quality control of all parts produced on CNC
Responsible for all the processes of the CNC Machines (Setups, loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, milling, turning, drilling, taping, all bench operations, and inspect).
Inspect and measure all process and finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications.
Capable of running multiple machines concurrently,
Clean and maintain a safe work environment
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions immediately to supervision.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
Operate one or more machines on a daily basis depending solely on the needs of the organization.
Basic machine maintenance (oïl, collants etc.)

**Physical Demands:
**
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, mechanical lift and devices are available throughout the manufacturing operations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
**Skills/Qualifications:
**
Knowledge in Lifting Heavy Equipment using hoists, hand trucks, and lifts.
Knowledge of manual inspection tools, CNC tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures and other accessories used on various machines.
CNC Operator must stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment as well.
CNC Operator also must be open to being exposed to noise, fumes and varying temperatures.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions and must have strong finger dexterity
Must have strong basic math skills including geometry and algebra to calculate material fabrication.
Knowledge of Calipers and other measuring devices.
This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident green card holder.
Competitive starting wages commensurate with experience and skill levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000-$65,000
