Overview The 3rd Shift Operator - Gearing, Gashing, Turning operates CNC
machinery, including a Live Spindle Vertical Turning Center, Gear
Hobbing/Splining Machine, and CNC Hobber Gashing Machine. This role
involves setting up and operating these machines, using an assortment of
tools, gauges, and fixtures, as well as desktop PCs and overhead cranes.
Additionally, it involves performing complex machining operations to
meet precise tolerances across various components. Materials Processed:
Components such as gears, pinions, hubs, rings, and wheels Materials
including cast iron, alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, and non-metallics
3rd shift Schedule: 10:30pm-7:30am Sunday-Thursday Key Job
Responsibilities Review production schedules regardingjobs for
processing. Set up and operate machines for turning, drilling, tapping,
boring, milling, gashing, grinding, and other tasks. Deburr and inspect
parts for accuracy, using machine probes, inspection tools, and gauges.
Complete all required documentation, including part stamping.
Qualifications/Requirements Experience operating CNC machines, with a
focus on turning, gearing, and gashing. Proficiency in precision
measuring instruments and inspection tools. Ability to read and
interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Familiarity with CNC
