Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Hookset, NH to bring on CNC operators and Grind Machine Operators. This is a contract (temp to hire) position. We have both 2nd shift and 3rd shift available.

Shift Hours:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Tasks May Include:
- Set up and operate a variety of conventional and numerically controlled precision machine tools/equipment, including lathes, millers, grinders, electro-chemical machines, and coordinate measuring inspection machines.
- Perform machine-control offsets and basic NC modifications to produce products that meet close tolerance specifications.
- Conduct intermediate mathematical calculations as needed.
- Utilize precision inspection tools and interpret mechanical blueprints, sketches, engineering specifications, and drawings.
- Provide training to other employees as required.
- Carry out duties related to environmental health and safety, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement, and production flow to support manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and records of job tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in advanced machine tool and equipment manufacturing operations; or
- Technical Certificate from an accredited institution with at least 18 months of experience in advanced machine tool and equipment manufacturing operations; or
- Associate degree in a technically related field from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 1 year of experience in advanced machine tool and equipment manufacturing operations.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in setting up and operating conventional and/or numerically controlled precision manufacturing machine tools and equipment.
- Experience with NC machine offsets and fundamental NC program modifications.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Experience in mathematical calculations involving decimals, ratios, and percentages.
- Familiarity with precision gages and measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, dial calipers, height gages).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma fundamentals.
- Ability to build positive relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Capable of following safety practices, meeting deadlines, and maintaining punctuality and attendance standards.
