CNC Programmer - Hire Up Staffing Services

Job Opportunity: CNC Programmer (press & laser)
Location: Fresno, CA
Shift: Monday - Friday
Pay: $20-$28/hr (DOE)

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a CNC Programmer for a confidential client in Fresno. This well-established company specializes in the production of high-quality equipment, and this position offers a great opportunity for growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program all press brake and laser nesting programs for stock and custom parts based on production needs.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all programs.
• Verify that the correct materials and quantities are available for scheduled jobs.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure necessary materials are ordered.
• Collaborate with press brake and laser leads and operators to ensure efficient operation and timely delivery of quality parts.
• Troubleshoot and correct programs to meet production targets.
• Maintain, clean, and ensure safe operation of all equipment in the department.
• Work with engineering to correct drawing errors and suggest part modifications for better manufacturability.

Supporting Duties:

• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Attend and actively participate in required meetings.

Desired Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a manual press brake operator.
• 2-3 years’ experience as an automatic NC-controlled press brake operator.
• 2 years of programming experience with press brakes and laser machines.
• Experience with Amada programming is preferred.
• 1 year of laser operation experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read technical drawings and familiarity with SolidWorks.
• Experience with shop floor ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organizational skills to schedule and prioritize daily tasks.
• Basic understanding of inventory control.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
