Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Construction Manager to join our team supporting the US Air Force, at Warner Robbins, GA. This position is expected to be onsite. Under the guidance of the Air Force Lead this position assists in the analysis, planning, design, and construction of space as an enabler to the Air Force Client.
The Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion. They will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. The Construction Manager will lead a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and tradespeople, to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in consultation with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee the construction process, including the coordination of subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all project activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage project risks by identifying potential issues and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, permits, and other legal requirements, is complete and up to date.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures and ensuring that costs remain within budgeted limits.
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure high performance and effective collaboration.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on project requirements.
- Ensure that construction activities adhere to project specifications, plans, and codes.

- Top Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from planning through to completion.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in construction management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, and in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
This is a full-time position that may require travel and occasional work outside of normal business hours. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
