We have a great opportunity for a COTA – (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) in Cayce, SC.
Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is a 36-bed stand-alone inpatient rehabilitation hospital that took their first 2 patients on 8/1! We will be providing specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients who are often recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

What you bring:
- A passion for patient care, a team player, motivating and collaborating therapist to assist patients to reach the best outcome.
- Graduate Degree from an accredited program as a COTA.
- Current State COTA License.
- Current CPR
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
- One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

- Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.

- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments. Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
