Job Title: CPR/ AED/ First Aid Instructor
Place of Performance: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport 1176 Howell Street, Newport, RI.
Job Type: Part-time Position.
Schedule: Conduct 3 Classes for the first year from 08:00 - 12:00
Duties:
- Conduct monthly face-to-face training sessions to obtain and renew their "Adult CPR/AED/First Aid" certifications.
- Provide and organize training materials, including mannequins, trainer AED equipment, and first aid supplies.
- Deliver engaging and interactive instruction using a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
- Ensure that each class accommodates up to a maximum of 10 students, maintaining a high-quality learning environment.
- Provide course completion certificates and wallet cards to each attendee upon successful completion of the course.
- Certified to teach Basic Life Support (BLS), Adult CPR/AED, and First Aid.
- Proven experience in conducting CPR/AED and First Aid training sessions, ideally in a professional or federal setting.
- Ability to use audiovisual aids and technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the capability to engage a diverse audience effectively.
- Ability to provide all necessary training materials and equipment, including audiovisual equipment for video demonstrations.
- Preferably with experience in a military or technical environment, understanding the specific needs and regulations of federal agencies.
- Must maintain valid certifications and stay updated with the latest guidelines and best practices in CPR/AED and First Aid training.
