CSAC or LMSW, LSW, LMHC with OTP experience - Fusion Recovery

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Fusion Recovery Center Clinician provides alcoholism and substance use disorder counseling services in an approved work setting to see clients individually and in evidence based Groups in the integrated outpatient program. The Clinicians will complete a psychosocial intake assessment and admits for clients. The position involves working closely with the program Director, the Clinical supervisor, and the front office support staff, the medical team, as well as the clinicians. As the regions leader in integrated care for behavioral health we are seeking top level clincians with the passion and drive required to elevate the delivery of these services throughout the region. 

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Complete a Comprehensive Psycho-Social Assessment for clients entering the Program while maintaining a case load.

· Conduct substance use and mental health assessments and treatment utilizing standardized assessment tools and best practice techniques i.e. MI, EBP etc.

· Complete phone screenings and determine client’s suitability to complete a clinical assessment. Also to utilize our telehealth licensure to engage with case loads regularly that are unable to get transporatioon to the facility. Both IC sessions and Groups. 

· Coordinate intakes and medical appointments as necessary. Engage consistently with Government authorities and reporting such as CPS and Probation. 

· Knowledge of all applicable screening tools; i.e. PHQ 2&9, DAST, MAST, Modified Mini Screen, etc. plus EMR. 

· Works with Finance Department to ensure billing for APG services.

· Work with Billing  Department to ensure financial clearance.

· Process client ID Card/Photo.

· Knowledge of the current LOCADTR 3.0

· Knowledge of Lighthouse to check for dual enrollment prior to admission,

· Completes timely reporting admissions and discharges on OASAS Client Data System PAS 44’s and PAS 45’s

· Working knowledge of Electronic Health Record; i.e. Nextgen and Avatar. Methasoft, KIPU. 

· Explain treatment service agreement include; program rules and regulations (orientation), policies and practices and obtains clients signatures

· Conduct monthly orientation groups that include all new admissions.

· Monitors and reconciles Census between Lighthouse/Central Registry and OASAS CDS.

· Pursue ongoing professional development relevant to the job position.

· Participate in clinical supervision regularly and interdisciplinary team meetings.

· Demonstrates understanding of appropriate use of treatment planning and clinical intervention.

· Provides education and information to the client about alcohol and drug use disorder.

· Maintains and updates referral services and resources that may be useful to our client population.

· Conducts random toxicology testing for clients whenever necessary.

· Other related duties as required or directed by the Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Must be a QHP
• Valid unrestricted NYS OASAS certification as a CASAC
• Must obtain Mandated reporter (2 hours) training/certificate prior to hire date.
