Position Summary: As a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the voice of Berkshire, handling incoming calls, booking emergency and routine service appointments, and assisting with office tasks to keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for customers by managing a multi-line phone system, answering inquiries, relaying messages, and confirming appointments.
- Dispatch Management: Coordinate and dispatch calls to field technicians, ensuring timely service response.
- Appointment Scheduling: Book service calls received through our website, ServiceTitan software, and email, keeping customer schedules organized and updated.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver friendly, attentive service to all customers, proactively updating them on appointments and parts status.
- Administrative Support: Assist with daily office tasks, including opening and closing responsibilities and database management.
- Payment Processing: Handle customer payments over the phone as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office assistant role with strong data entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data management
- Previous experience with ServiceTitan software is a plus but not required
