Hours/Days: Monday thru Thursday 9 am - 7:30 pm
The Staff Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities and performs diagnostic procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle, exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, provides patient care essential to imaging procedures, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action, initiates life support measures, and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and Medical Staff.
Additional Job Description
Education:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Licenses/Certification:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible. SC Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) license is required. Advanced American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
