Pay
$33.08 to $49.62 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift Differentials
Eligible for a variety of shift differentials depending on work schedule (up to 22% of base-pay)
Shift
Full-Time Options:
- 10:30am-11:00pm (rotating days with a weekend rotation)
- 6:30pm-7:00am (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)
Job Summary
- Conduct high-quality CT examinations using the necessary technical skills while adhering to established procedures and protocols.
- Engage in all aspects of CT patient care, including pre- and post-care support within the patient care area.
- Deliver outstanding patient care, ensuring safety, education, radiation protection, and an excellent customer service experience throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, particularly within the Radiology Information System.
- Produce appropriate images from the CT workstation and present the relevant films of CT scans to the radiologist.
- Perform the role of a staff technologist, providing both direct and indirect clinical supervision and education to students in the clinical environment.
- Collaborate on departmental projects and teams aimed at identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Assist with various supportive tasks, such as patient transportation, office and clerical duties, equipment troubleshooting, maintaining room supplies, and cleaning radiographic equipment.
- Occasionally supervise radiology students directly and indirectly, as well as coordinate patient flow with the indirect supervision of orderlies.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.
- ARRT CT Certified or ARRT registry eligible.
- NY State Licensure.
- BLS Certification.
Preferred:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with CT responsibilities.
