Hourly Pay Range: $32.52 - $40.65

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position is scheduled for 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, providing a consistent weekend work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to department protocols and standards, ensuring quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging results.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety, infection control, and proper shielding techniques for patients and staff.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging documentation and any pertinent patient information.
• Ensure a patient-centered approach, addressing any questions or concerns with care and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of CT Tech experience required. Acute care experience preferred but not required.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred.
• Must be a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or instructor certification, required within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program with a Technical Degree or Associate Degree.
