CVN Program Coordinator - PRS Management Inc

Community Volunteer Network (CVN) is seeking a full-time RSVP Program Coordinator to join our team! RSVP provides a variety of opportunities for adults age 55+ to participate fully in the life of their community through significant volunteer service. To learn more about us click here!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers for the Call-A-Ride (CAR) program.  
• Schedule volunteer drivers and coordinate the non-emergency medical rides and grocery rides for CAR clients.  
• Review, document, assign and respond to RSVP and SHIBA messages.  
• Review volunteer timesheets and reconcile information with the program’s trip database.  
• Interview potential clients for CAR and independently determine eligibility of clients for the program and subsequently enroll clients. Supervise intake volunteers to support this function.  
• Create and maintain accurate records of registered clients and volunteers in each program.  
• Assist with software implementation and maintenance.  
• Interact with outside agencies, as appropriate i.e. United Way, Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD) and the Rogue Valley Council of Governments, who impact assigned programs.  
• Maintain records required by funding sources.  
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to each assigned program.  
• Attend all meetings/seminars which pertain to the assigned programs.  
• Manage short-term special projects as assigned.  
• Support volunteer recognition events.  
• Assist director in various capacities including newsletters, mailings, and surveys.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.  

About You:

• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and experience in independent problem solving.  
• Two (2) years’ experience in working with volunteers, especially diverse groups of people in a variety of situations is preferred.  
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel.  
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.  

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm with some flexibility on hours 

This full-time position is based in our home office located in Medford, Oregon. Candidates must reside locally to be considered for this role. 

Wages: $20.00 - $22.00 / hr DOE
