Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist

Location: Norman, Oklahoma

On Call Requirements: 15 Call Shifts Per Month

Salary Range: $17.39/hour - $28.40/hour (dependent on previous work experience)

Job Description:

As a CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the sterile environment is maintained, assisting the surgeon during operative procedures, and keeping the Operating Room safe and aseptic. New Surg Techs will receive extensive orientation, guided by a dedicated preceptor, and will become proficient in all service lines. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgeon during CVOR operative procedures
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are available and properly handled
• Work closely with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
• Participate in the orientation and training of new Surg Techs

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or a minimum of five (5) consecutive years of training/experience as a Surgical Technologist Required
• Recent clinical experience as a CST/Surg Tech Required
• LPN with one (1) year surgical tech experience Preferred
• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist Highly Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
• If Certified, must maintain current Surgical Technologist certification Required
• Oklahoma LPN license, if applicable Required
