Position: Vehicle Development Engineer - Multimedia, HVAC, and Switches

Who We're Looking For

eShocan ESV's Vehicle Development team is seeking a skilled and collaborative engineer to drive the development of Multimedia systems, HVAC panels, and various cockpit and chassis switches. This role is integral to advancing our objective of building a North American electronics center of excellence that aligns with eShocan's global vision for high-performance, user-centered automotive solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Vehicle Application: Oversee the application and integration of Multimedia, HVAC panel systems, and various cockpit and chassis switches, such as window master switches, N3 switches, spiral cables, and combination switches.
• Planning and Design: Structure and design Multimedia systems, HVAC panels, and switch components, establishing targets, assessing packaging feasibility, and balancing performance, customer needs, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supplier Management: Create detailed design specifications, manage supplier schedules, and oversee their performance and quality control to ensure project milestones are met.
• Documentation: Maintain part lists and produce essential design documents, including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications.

Requirements

• Schedule: Hybrid role, requiring onsite presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an electrical design engineer, demonstrating strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle electronics development, with expertise in Multimedia, HVAC panels, and switch systems.
• Proficiency in CATIA or similar CAD software.
