Job Details:
Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
The Manufacturing technician should be capable and experienced in working in a broad-based manufacturing environment which includes:
•Under minimal supervision, fabricate and assemble complex Space flight cable and harnesses assemblies from drawings, schematics, wire lists, or engineering sketches in conformance with government specifications and workmanship standards.
•Support cable and harness installations to spacecraft per installation drawings and procedures.
•A strong understanding of wiring processes, crimping, splicing, wire routing, and assembly techniques as it applies to NASA standard harness assembly operations is required.
•Must have experience in computer software such as Microsoft word, MS Outlook, and Excel. (Excel is most important)
•The candidate must work well alone and within a team environment.
•Must possess good problem-solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and work with limited supervision.
•Must be a self-starter, must be self-motivated, and a team player.
•Familiarization with ESD, FOD, 5S, and Tool Control highly preferred
•Must have the ability to focus and have a strong attention to detail.
•No heavy lifting required, equal standing and sitting with some reaching.
•Preference to candidates with NASA J-STD and/or IPC 620 certifications
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
9/80 schedule.
6:00am-3:30pm
