Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safety, security and well being of crew and passengers during period of command.
- Command and pilot Corporation aircraft with absolute authority.
- Responsible for coordination of flight planning, procurement of catering, fuel and supplies.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety, legal, technical requirements and FAA regulations at all times.
- Maintain effective communications at all times between aircrew, dispatch, maintenance and passengers worldwide.
- Responsible for concise aircraft forms and records as required by the Aircraft Division and the FAA.
- Attend to the travel needs of passengers and coordinate air and ground requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining a high degree of proficiency and professionalism and perform additional management tasks as assigned by the General Manager-Aircraft Division.
- Must have thorough understanding of aircraft systems of aircraft currently being used by the Corporation.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating with appropriate type, class, category and competency certificates applicable to Division aircraft
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Certificates essential to procure a valid U.S. passport with no restrictions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience in Excel
- Experience with Oracle invoicing
Preferred Skills:
- A minimum of 4,000 flight hours and four years degree (or equivalent specifically approved waiver by General Manager).
- Flying experience will be broadly diversified between domestic and international travel from previous experience in business flight operations or military experience.
- Extensive travel during non typical working hours required.
- Working knowledge of computer, mobile devices and internet based applications required.
- Communication through verbal, written, and electronic means is required.
- Frequently required to lift or move up to 50#.
