Cardiologist
We are seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join our team in the breathtaking Finger Lakes region of New York. The candidate will be a vital member of a well-established team, offering expert cardiological care at two prominent regional hospitals. Compensation: $500,000.00 - $550,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiological care to adult patients, both inpatient and outpatient, ensuring high standards of practice.
- Perform daily consultations and cardiological procedures, including but not limited to Echo, Nuc, TEE, and Cardioversions.
- Manage a schedule that includes a 4.5-day work week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in a light on-call rotation (1 in 9) that supports work-life balance while providing necessary care to patients.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and cardiologists during scheduled onsite visits to provide cohesive and comprehensive care strategies.
- Maintain detailed patient records, adhere to healthcare regulations and standards, and stay updated on new medical procedures and developments in cardiology.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Board-eligible or Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Valid PALS and ACLS certifications.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (H1 Visa, J1 Visa, or Green Card holder).
- Demonstrated experience in managing both inpatient and outpatient cardiology cases.
- Proven ability to perform echocardiograms, nuclear cardiology tests, transesophageal echocardiograms, and cardioversions.
- Strong commitment to developing a patient-focused environment that is supportive and respectful.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a regional hospital setting.
- Proven track record of excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading a team and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Experience with electronic health record systems and data-driven care management.
- Interest in participating in clinical trials and research to advance the field of cardiology.
