About the Job
Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital affiliated partners of Brown University are recruiting an adult cardiac surgeon to join a group of 4 cardiac surgeons academic cardiac surgery program. A thoracic training program is under development. Research opportunities, in collaboration with NIH NHLBI Investigator and past Chief, Professor Frank Sellke or independently, is available.
About the job:
- The group performs all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, except heart transplantation
- 500+ pump cases and 350 TAVR are performed annually
- Opportunity exists in coronary, valve and aortic surgery to complement senior surgeons in each of these areas
- Applicants will be eligible for an assistant or associate professorship
- PSLF Eligible
- Midlevel support and administrative support
- Dedicated Cardiac Anesthesia support
