There are three Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. We are searching for a CVT Charge who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset will truly value their professional experience they will acquire while working, as there are alot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices. The Director is a servant-leader with 31 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community.
The Cath Lab CVT Charge, under the direction the of the director/manager person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.
This is a Full Time, Day Shift position.
On call is approx. 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
Qualifications:Education:
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years experience
and:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
OR
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
OR
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
- BLS
- ACLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
