Job Summary

Adept Home Care is currently seeking a caring, dependable non-medical hourly caregiver for IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT for the following days/hours for a client located in Pittsburgh, PA (hill district)
 

• Friday (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) AND (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) 
• Saturday, Sunday (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) AND (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)
  • Client is flexible and willing to work with caregiver on a schedule that works

Client Diagnosis: Hearing/Vision Impairment, Cancer (Breast), Stroke (last one in 2009), Weakness due to strokes, Hypertension

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Cooking and Light Housekeeping
• Laundry and Change of Bed Linens
• Grocery Shopping
• Companionship
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Bathing, Grooming and Dressing Assistance
• Driving to Appointments and Errands
• Walking and Transfer Assistance
• Medication Reminders
• ADL's
• Ambulation
• Change Depends
• Transportation - MUST have vehicle to run errands
• Hoyer Lift Experience

Caregiver Requirements: 

• At least 1 year experience
• 2 Step TB Test 
• Pass Criminal Background Checks
• Pass Child Clearances (when applicable)
