Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Right at Home, In-Home Caregiver Positions:

Right at Home is urgently hiring for an in home caregiver in Sisters! We have 11 hours a week in Sisters currently, and many more hours available in other parts of Central Oregon too- Redmond, Terrebone, Prineville, Bend, and many more cities around the area. The client in Sisters is a Vietnam Veteran who is dealing with Parkinsons and some memory loss. He has a good sense of humor!

The ideal candidate should preferably have at least one year of experience and/or a strong desire to help others- but we can train you if you don't have professional experience yet. Our Caregivers provide care for elderly and/or disabled adults in the clients’ own homes. In-Home Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Meal Planning and Preparation
• Fall Prevention and Transfers
• Light Housekeeping: Wiping Surfaces, Dishes, Laundry, Floors, Bathrooms, Making Beds, Etc.
• Home Organization & Tidying
• Companionship Activities
• Personal Care and Hygiene: Showers, Toileting, Mouth Hygiene,
• Transportation to/from Appointments and/or Errands
• Individualized Tasks Per Client Care Plan

In-Home Caregiver Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED Certificate Preferred
• Be At Least 18 Years of Age as Required Per the State of Oregon
• Reliable Transportation
• Be Able to Pass a Background Check.
