Caregiver for 1-on-1 Outings and Activities in the Community

_PLEASE NOTE_ : Position requires Valid CA driver’s license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

In this specific position you'll provide support and companionship one-on-one with an adult who has an intellectual or developmental disability out in the community doing activities like: outings/field trips, activities and events, shopping and eating out, developmental goal-based activities.

+ Competitive Pay: Hourly rate of $16.30 and full benefits package for full time employees; all staff get mileage reimbursement at 62.5 cents per mile... it adds up = more money in your pocket!
+ Schedule: We have both part-time and full-time positions available ; Schedules are pretty flexible and most shifts are in the late afternoon/evenings on weekdays and during the day on weekends - _weekend availability is required for this position_ _since this is when most of the outings are scheduled_

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SEVITA
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
+ Experience: Six months of experience in human services or direct care _preferred_
+ License and Vehicle: Valid CA driver’s license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance - you will use your own vehicle to transport individual on outings
+ Clearances: Must be able to pass criminal and driver history background checks and a physical and TB test
+ Skills: Communication, multi-tasking, adaptability, teamwork, time management
+ Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
