What You Will Do:
As Carpenter Foreman, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Able to perform rough and finish carpentry.
- Experience in setting case and millwork.
- Experience in architectural doors and hardware.
- Must have hand bags and all necessary hand tools.
- Must be able to read blueprints and perform layout work.
- Must have experience leading a team of carpenters and general trades positions.
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Travel throughout East Tennessee required on occasion.
- Work closely and cooperatively and cooperatively with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and/or Project Engineer to ensure project goals are met.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:
- Minimum of five (5) years' carpentry experience.
Expected Hours of Work: Full time, more than 40-hours a week. May work nights and weekends. On occasion, construction may continue around the clock to meet deadlines.
Travel: Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel 60 miles a day dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: The majority of work is completed outside at the construction site and in an office trailer where the project is monitored, and daily decisions are made about construction activities.
The position is often exposed to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. The job requires the wearing of protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats, safety glasses, and highly visible clothing). Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons.

- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach (with hands and arms), climb, balance stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
