_Carpenter - Start ASAP - $35/Hour - Weekly Pay - Benefits From Day 1_
_Pay: $25-$35 an hour_
_Hours: 7am - 5pm, depending on projects_
Job Description
We are a large commercial construction company that handles everything from design to build. We self-perform a significant portion of the carpentry and steel work, while subcontracting other tasks. We typically manage 17-20 projects concurrently and currently have two ongoing school projects.
Responsibilities
+ Perform carpentry work, including framing, finish carpentry, and rough carpentry
+ Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
+ Use hand tools and power tools to complete construction activities
+ Work on various projects across SD, with the potential to move between projects based on location and travel requirements
+ Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project success
Essential Skills
+ Experience in carpentry, including framing, finish carpentry, and rough carpentry
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
+ Experience in commercial construction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency with tools such as hammer, pliers, speed square, tape measure (25’), utility knife, tool belt, 10” crescent wrench, vise grip, cats paw, pry bar, chalk line, tin snips, flat and Phillips screwdriver
+ Ability to work in various weather conditions with appropriate attire
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
