Sodexo's Independent School Services Division is seeking a high energy, client-centered Catering Manager 3 to lead our catering/event planning partnership with Lake Forest Academy a long-tenured, premier client located in Lake Forest, IL. The Catering Manager will manage full cycle catering, support front of house operations and support marketing initiatives for the unit.
Catering Manager will manage all catered and special events. The position is responsible for managing the daily catering operation including ordering catering food, client catering meetings, writing catering menus, client billing and controlling labor costs.
Candidate will plan, train and support national marketing, client marketing and in-house roll-outs to support unit operations. Ideal candidate will possess dynamic communication skills and will be an ambassador for Sodexo to our customers. Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

- The ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives
- Candidate must have the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, specifically supervising both catering and front of the house operations

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
