Job Summary and Qualifications

The Certified Surgical Technologist – Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA) - CVOR provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions, including saphenous vein harvesting, that will help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient.   If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

Minimum Qualifications: 

Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by an accredited agency. Certification as Surgical First Assistant through a nationally accredited certification agency.

EDUCATION: 

• High School Diploma

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

• Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required;
• CPR required;
• Complies with hospital employee health, infection control and safety management programs.

EXPERIENCE:

• Current acute clinical care experience preferred;
• Current experience in Surgery as a CST;
• Current experience in CVOR and vein harvesting
