Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Peterborough, New Hampshire

Salary Range: Up to $22/hour (for candidates with significant experience)

Position Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. This role is crucial in maintaining the professional nature of the office through personal appearance and attitude. The position demands a high degree of professionalism, emotional stability, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab tests, and other procedures pertinent to the practice within the scope of MA certification.
• Assist physicians during examinations, including taking vital signs and assisting with medical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of examination rooms and manage medical supplies inventory.
• Handle patient communications and follow up as directed by the physician.
• Assist with patient documentation and medical records, including referrals and lab requests.
• Provide patient support during visits and assist with patient mobility and preparation for examinations and treatments.
• Work collaboratively within a team and remain flexible to perform varying duties as required by the office management.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures within the scope of certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Discretion with confidential information and emotional stability.
