Responsibilities:
- Assist patients to the exam room and obtain vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, pulse ox, blood pressure, and weight. Document patient histories and chief complaints in the computer system. Prepare patients for exams and procedures by positioning, draping, shaving, and disinfecting treatment areas. Assist with exams, perform visual acuities, and aid in invasive procedures. Place leads and conduct EKGs, perform ear lavages, and remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds. Apply basic dressings and collect, label, and process urine and stool specimens. Draw blood and obtain any other specimens ordered by the provider. Run lab work, including CBC, CMP, BMP, Lipids, SOB, Urinalysis, Influenza, Strep Screen, HcG, RSV, and Mono. Apply splints and remain flexible for cross-training opportunities. Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice, observing and identifying actions needed to help move the organization forward while best representing its values. Additional duties may be assigned to help drive the organization's vision, fulfill its mission, and uphold its core values.
Pay: $14/hr & up (Depending on Experience)
12 hour shifts

We are a fast paced environment looking for applicants capable of multi-tasking and high attention to detail. This position requires a great deal of patience and a caring heart. Must be comfortable on computers with excellent customer service and MA certification. The ability to be thorough, courteous, and prioritize is at the top of the list for the position.
