Certified Medication Aide - Brookdale Overland Park

Brookdale Overland Park is seeking a Kansas Certified Medication Aide to join their Assisted Living and Memory Care Teams! We have full-time and part-time positions available. Notably, four out of the five leaders in our team started as CNAs and have been with Brookdale for over 5 years. Day Shift 

• Part-time, 6am-2:30pm, Week 1 Mon Week 2  Fri

Evening Shift 

• Part-time, 2pm-10:30pm,  Every Other Weekend, $4 Shift Diff

NOC Shift 

• Full-time, 10pm-6:30am, Week 1 Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat Week 2 Sun, Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri 
• Part-time, 10pm-6:30am, Week 1 Mon, Thurs, Sat Week 2 Sun, Mon, Thurs, Weekday Shift Diff $2, Weekend Shift Diff $4
• PRN, 10pm-6:30am, Every Other Weekend, $4 Shift Diff

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
