Shift Time is 6 pm - 6 am with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!!! 8 or 12 hour shifts

Position Description:
A nursing assistant is responsible for providing routine nursing care following established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Qualifications
Currently have a license as a certified nursing assistant
Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.
Ability to tactfully handle stressful situations regarding residents, family members, team members, etc.
Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all duties as assigned and per established policies and procedures.
Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
Make beds, clean bedside, and overbed tables.
Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
Compensation: Hourly at $20-$26 / Hour DOE

Job Type: Full Time (Not a Travel Position)
Facility: 87-bed Skilled Nursing Facility designed with staff in mind. (Shaped like a smushed 'X', it allows for greater teamwork and support among floor staff )
Patient Population: ~50 Residents, with around 10% of those being skilled (We tend to have lower acuity, Long-Term Residents)
Shift: 12 Hour Shifts (NOC Shift: 6p - 6a)
CNA to Patient Ratio: We schedule anywhere between 1:10 and 1:13. (Our goal is to provide amazing care for the residents)
