Certified Nursing Assistant
Neulife Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Mt Dora, Florida. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to patients and assist in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to create a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Assist in the implementation of care plans
- Support the healthcare team in providing excellent patient care
Requirements:
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lifts, turns, moves, positions, and transports clients as appropriate for their condition.
- Assists clients with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Accurately documents and charts patient care to include vitals and personal interactions.
- Respond to call lights promptly. Resolves client issue at time of initial response.
- Exhibits excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards clients.
- Assists in the evacuation of patients.
- Demonstrates dependable, regular attendance. Arrived to work on time and departs as scheduled.
- Demonstrates ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours without restrictions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Bilingual in Spanish a plus

- Possesses knowledge of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care rehabilitation facility
- Demonstrates the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
- Performs proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to direct patient care, patient rights, and safety and sanitation.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with all clients, families, visitors, associates, vendors, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Accept constructive feedback (positive or negative), learns from mistakes and grows from the experience.
- Understands and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
- Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to NeuLife's Code of Conduct and promptly completes mandatory compliance training as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. One-year experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Current CNA License, HHA or Medical Assistant Certificates
