Description of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Be the advocate for human rights, intervening on behalf of individuals and reporting any concerns promptly.
- Show up with a smile and a can-do attitude, ensuring reliable attendance and flexibility to support your team.
- Keep a watchful eye on the individuals under your care, noting any changes and addressing issues as they arise.
- Dive into activities and lesson plans with enthusiasm, promoting development and rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate records and complete tasks promptly, ensuring the well-being of those in your care.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment, promoting teamwork and communication with peers and supervisors.
- Be a champion of safety, from emergency procedures to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.
- Provide assistance and supervision both in-house and in the community, ensuring individuals can participate to the fullest.

Qualifications:
- Must be over 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass the TABE test with flying colors.
- Ready to spring into action during crises, both behavioral and health-related.
- Completed Direct Support Professional training and hold a current CNA certificate.
- Prior experience as a nurse's aide or in personal care is a bonus.
