Job Summary: As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in healthcare settings. Working under the supervision of registered nurses or unit managers, you will assist with various patient care tasks, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of individuals in your care. Responsibilities:
Provide Basic Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living.
Document Observations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care from pre-admission to discharge.
Provide Emotional Support: Interact with patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner, offering emotional support and actively listening to their concerns.
Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Communicate effectively with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Assist with Medical Procedures: Prepare patients for medical procedures, provide assistance during examinations, and support the implementation of prescribed treatments.
Follow Safety and Infection Control Protocols: Adhere to established safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
Experience:
Six months CNA experience preferred.
License(s):
For the Following Cost Center(s) 205351, 205353
Valid CA or NV Driver's license and ability to pass Renown Health's Department of Motor Vehicle Report criteria. Current auto insurance.
Certification(s):
AHA BLS certification. Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada CNA certification.
Computer / Typing:
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
