Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full-Time Outpatient - Independence Rehab

Job Description:

Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a full-time outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to float between two of our assisted living facilities: Arbor Village in Kent and Solstice at Point Defiance in Tacoma. Both are lovely facilities!

Each week you should anticipate working three days at Arbor Village and two days at Point Defiance.

At Independence Rehab, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. We strive to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge her/him to the next level of care.

Here are a few practice-specific items:

• Occasionally treating clinically complex patients
• Proficient with all types of transfers
• Provide adaptive ADL re-training

Requirements:

• Current WA OTA license in good standing
• Associate degree from an accredited college or university
• Organized, self-starter with a love for the geriatric population

Our preference is a therapist who has worked at least one year in a skilled nursing facility, but if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who enjoys the geriatric population, we would love to hear from you!
