$28.16 - $42.24 an hour – Per Diem, Days. Various shifts a week.
*Includes per diem differential. +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant that assumes responsibility and accountability for providing quality patient care through the provision of occupational therapy services including assistance with occupational therapy treatments and/or independent treatment, under the direction of an occupational therapist and practicing within the scope of his/her strengths and limitations. Occupational therapy services include the following: assessment of patient level of function/needs assessment, development of treatment programs, provision of treatment and education of the patient, family and caregivers as related to daily living skills, physical/cognitive functions and perception.

Qualifications:
•Graduate of a two-year Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate of Applied Science certificate as required by registration.
•BLS certification required by the end of conditional period.
•Current Occupational Therapy Assistant certification issued by the State of Colorado.
Responsibilities:
•Develops/revises an individualized treatment plan based on functional long and short-term goals.
•Implementation skills: Implements the occupational therapy treatment program under the direction of the occupational therapist and provides treatment using appropriate techniques and tools.
•Develops and supervises groups designed with the input of the Occupational Therapy staff.
•Reports and documents treatment sessions, treatment techniques, patient progress and response to treatment.
•Transfers patients from wheelchair, bed, mat, commode etc.
