Position Overview
As a CPA within our Financial Advisory Practice, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals. You will collaborate closely with our team of financial planners and investment advisors in providing comprehensive financial advice and strategic guidance. From tax planning and compliance to wealth management strategies, you'll leverage your expertise to deliver tailored solutions that optimize our clients' financial positions and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maximizing tax efficiency.
- Collaborate with financial planners and investment advisors to develop holistic wealth management strategies aligned with clients' objectives.
- Provide proactive tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, proactive outreach, and personalized service delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings and provide value-added insights to clients.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA or EA) designation required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (desired), Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax preparation, public accounting, financial planning, or wealth management.
- Strong technical proficiency in annual tax filing for individuals and small businesses, tax planning, compliance, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and straightforwardly.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
