AT&T has an opening for a Change Manager that supports the customer’s various wide area networks (WANs) and local area networks (LANs). The operational change manager is responsible for leading and coordinating organizational change initiatives. They enable our organization to take proactive measures to identify and manage changes in their business processes. They focus on improving various business processes using different change management tools and techniques. The operational change manager also needs to have a firm understanding of organizational development and change theory.
The job duties of the Change Manager are as follows:
- Implementing strategy to support adoption of essential change management techniques within the business.
- Assessing change readiness and identifying key internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating change management plans for projects or change initiatives acknowledging all aspects of change - analysis, plan, implementation, communication, and other associated change considerations.
- Developing change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles.
- Preparing technical impact analyses and evaluation of the actual impact of changes.
- Analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactic and processes.
- Close collaboration with the Projects Managers, technicians, and external stakeholders to effectively integrate change management activities into the existing project plans.
- Execution of planned strategies at an enterprise-wide scale.
- Conducting regular assessments to track the implementation of change.
- Being knowledgeable in the best practices and principles of effective change management in an IT networks-based environment.
- Have strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills to identify root causes of problems and their solutions.
- Convene and coordinate appropriate Change Management Boards to ensure the proper stakeholders are given appropriate authority.
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) after the implementation of changes.
- Maintain all change documentation (policies, procedures, templates, etc.).
- Produce necessary reports to upper management to ensure that the business is meeting its objectives.
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master’s and 4 years, bachelor’s and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years. Additional required qualifications include:
- Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
- Working knowledge of Service Now or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) products.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of MS Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- This position requires rotating schedules of after-hours on-call support.
- Have knowledge of ITILv4.
Desired Qualifications
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
- CompTIA Network+ or similar network focused certification/background.

Our Change Management (NE2) (Government) earns between $89,200 - $140,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
