Position Overview:
CPP is actively hiring for the 2nd Shift (3:00 - 11:30pm M-F) weekends & OT as needed . This role handles the duties associated with Alloy: segregation and pre melt preparation.

Position Overview:

Essential Job Functions:
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Sort and inspect revert and virgin alloy using a XRF and visual inspection per instructions
- Resize material prior to cleaning per instruction
- Organize and maintain revert and virgin alloy per established standards
- Understand the periodic table of elements
- Ability to use multiple different pieces of equipment: Alloy analyzer, Metal shear, Pangborn, Hydraulic press, Plasma torch, Preheat oven, Grinders and Cut off saw.
- Weigh charge material to ensure appropriate alloy ratios have been achieved.
- Must be able to use a PC.
- Should have basic trouble shooting skills
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Ability to work overtime
- Attendance/Reliability
- Ability to work at the Chittenango facility
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: Knowledge of Foundry environment.
- Certifications/Licenses: Forklift license may be required.
