Charge Nurse (RN or LPN)- 12 HR Night Shift
The Charge Nurse position at McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is responsible for overseeing the CNAs and CMTs in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. This position is ideal for someone who has sound clinical judgement, is a team player, and enjoys spending time with seniors!
Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for nursing care of residents during assigned shift.
Direct nursing care provided to all residents in accordance with State and Federal Regulation and administrative policies.
Monitor and maintain accurate and complete records of nursing observation and care/treatment provided in nursing notes.
Maintain communication between nursing personnel.
Counsel CNA's, CMT's, and Restorative Nursing Assistants, and recommend corrective action to Director of Clinical Services.
Perform CMT duties as needed.
Identify emergency situations and initiate appropriate procedures.
Monitor and maintain narcotic records, psychotropic drug record, and other records as required.
Complete all required clinical assessments in a timely manner.
Follow established guidelines for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding residents and their personal information.

Experience:
