Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Executive Chef.
Chef de Cuisine Role Responsibilities:
- Culinary Excellence: Lead the charge in culinary initiatives, ensuring each dish embodies our commitment to quality and innovation while regularly working on the line with your team.
- Menu Development: Collaborate on creating captivating menus, infusing daily specials and seasonal features that enchant our members and guests.
- Team Leadership: As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be vital in working hip to hip on the line, training, and mentoring our culinary team, fostering an atmosphere of growth and excellence.
- Inventory Management: Manage the procurement and oversight of food products, upholding rigorous quality standards and budgetary guidelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain pristine kitchen conditions and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations for a safe dining environment.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure kitchen operations align with established policies, with a keen focus on detail and quality control.
- Collaborative Effort: Work seamlessly with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.
- Innovation and Prep: Guide kitchen staff in meal prep from concept to execution, pioneering new culinary techniques to elevate our offerings.
Chef de Cuisine Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 3-5 years in Culinary Arts, preferably with experience in a la carte service and high-volume settings.
- Certification: Must hold a current ServSafe Certification.
- Skillset: Proven reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and mastery of diverse cooking techniques.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
