JOB SUMMARY:

The milling or etching of parts and/or assemblies to finished dimensions by processing them through chemical solutions according to established procedure. Operates processing tank equipment and taper milling equipment as required. May be required to work with higher grade operators during training.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checks scribe lines, masking compound on parts before etching.
• Assist in securing information on rate of etch and rate of immersion, quality, and temperature of solution. 
• Process parts and assemblies through correct sequence of operation to acquire proper dimensions in accordance with schedules, specifications, etc.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting cause of discrepancies which occur most frequently such as etch pits, mask failures, etc. 
• Load and unload parts and assemblies from racks or holding devices.
• Perform any other functions in area such as masking, scribing, trimming etc. 

 

EDUCATION: Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.

EXPERIENCE: No experience required. 

WORKING CONDITIONS: Somewhat disagreeable due to exposure to elements such as wetness, fumes, steam and acid solutions. Not continuous.

 This role is eligible for a $4,000 (pre-tax) sign-on bonus. Terms & conditions apply. The Company reserves the right to amend or suspend this program at any time.
