Production Chemical Technician

Job Description:

As a Production Chemical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by setting up, mixing, and delivering high-quality production chemicals essential for various applications, such as wafer fabrication, ink toner production, and media processing. Your expertise in chemical composition and precision will directly impact the efficiency and quality of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chemical Preparation: Accurately set up and mix production chemicals, including medium agar, according to specified formulations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Delivery and Application: Safely deliver and apply chemicals to the production area, following established protocols to maintain operational efficiency and product integrity.
• Waste Management: Efficiently remove and dispose of waste chemicals, solvents, and acids in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on production furnaces and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Cleaning and Profiling: Regularly clean glass tubes, jungles, and other production equipment to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. Profile furnaces to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Spill Management: Quickly and effectively respond to chemical spills, employing appropriate cleanup techniques and safety measures to minimize hazards.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of chemical properties and handling procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process environment is preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
