Responsibilities:

The Chief Engineer assists the Faciltities Services Manager in coordinating construction, remodeling, and service company activities. When necessary, the Chief Engineer works as an Engineer and may assist with planning, scheduling, and supervision of department staff. The Engineer operates, maintains and repairs physical plant systems, buildings and equipment. The Engineer performs general maintenance throughout Facility Services.

Qualifications:

Education:  High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Experience:  Minimum four years work experience at journey level with comparable equipment and systems or completion of apprenticeship program. Experience coordinating construction and remodeling required. Supervisory experience preferred. Hospital engineering experience preferred.

Licensure:

Current valid applicable driver’s license. Driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements. Minimum of a Limited Building Maintenance Electrician (LBME) license required, Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license preferred.

 

Pay Range:USD $38.50 - USD $55.06 /Hr.
