Job Title: Hotel Chief Engineer  

Job Description: The Chief Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the engineering department, including the proper operation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment. The selected candidate must develop, coordinate, and monitor a maintenance program to ensure safety, security and comfort to all team members and guests. Tasks also include leadership, training and managing of all engineering/security associates in accordance with the standards of our hotels and owners.

Salary: $85K - $90K + 15% Bonus + Relocation Assistand and Temp Housing

Qualifications: 

· The Hotel Chief Engineer must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel maintenance/engineering, with two years management experience  

· Appropriate degrees and certificates are required for the Hotel Chief Engineer position 

· Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required for the Hotel Chief Engineer. Training in refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical is a must

· The Hotel Chief Engineer must work well with members of all departments within the hotel and promote a cordial and caring attitude toward all other department heads, employees, and guests 

· The Hotel Chief Engineer must communicate in English, as well as well with guests 

· The Hotel Chief Engineer must know and understand OSHA regulations, National, State and Local building regulations and codes, equipment operations and preventive maintenance procedures 

· The Hotel Chief Engineer candidate must develop, coordinate, and monitor a maintenance program to ensure safety, security and comfort to all team members and guests.
