Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Chiller Maintenance Technician to handle the care and upkeep of chiller systems for our clients. The Chiller Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining optimal performance and extending the lifespan of these systems through regular inspections, maintenance tasks, and minor repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on chiller systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, leaks, or other potential issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Monitor and calibrate control systems to ensure accurate and efficient operation of chillers.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific maintenance needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including tasks performed and parts used.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Work in accordance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in chiller maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chiller Maintenance Technician or in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
• Strong understanding of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles, and cooling principles.
• Familiarity with various types of chiller control systems and their maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to chillers.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Further education or technical training in HVAC technology is preferred.
