We are searching for a Civil CADD Technician with land development or municipal/roadway project experience. This position will be responsible for providing CADD drafting and design support such as creating plan sets, exhibits, details and other drawings. Responsibilities:
- Work from sketches, notes, and other input material to produce accurate, quality CADD drawings with some guidance and direction.
- Organize layout and coordinate drafted documents.
- Provide support to the project team in all aspects of production.
- Understand and follow the companys standard CADD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
- Utilize firms drafting standards and automated library functions effectively to maintain a high level of productivity.
- May include minimal design calculations, checking computations and reviewing drawings for quality assurance purposes.
- Understand and follow file management standards. Maintain neat and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in drafting for land development or municipal projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Excellent written/verbal communication skills are required as well as experience with Microsoft Office software. High school education or equivalent required; Associates degree or Certificate in drafting preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver license and have a good driving record.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Read, analyze, and understand civil engineering construction plans.
- Manage competing demands; use time effectively.
- Work with tight deadlines and within constraints.
- Deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events, including addressing such events after-hours and on weekends.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- As directed, assist in supervising and directing the work of others.
- Maintain confidentiality.
