We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Compiling evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases.
- Managing files and documents from inception to trial/arbitration.
- Coordinating with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts.
- Corresponding with clients and opposing law firms.
- Communicating issues with experts and investigation and analysis of expert qualifications and experience, including prior transcripts, testimony, and articles.
- Assisting with trial preparation as necessary.
- 3-5+ years' experience in defense civil litigation.
- A college degree from an accredited university and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
- Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong analytical skills, as well as advanced oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- Experience with high-volume document production (both receiving production documents from multiple parties and producing documents in response to discovery requests), including organization, indexing, and labeling.
