Class B Driver - Securis

Position Summary

At Securis, you can help us 'drive' sustainability! We are looking for an experienced Class B driver to be part of our growing Shipping & Receiving team. The ideal candidate has an excellent driving record and exceptional customer service skills. He/she will regularly operate a Class B box truck and interact with our valued vendors and clients. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position, with occasional overtime. Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30 pm, but the actual start and stop times may change due to the job details.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to and from the customer locations
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the warehouse and commercial vehicles
• Load and unload trucks before and at the completion of a given project. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Maintain the physical security protocols we have in place and ensures others follow said protocols
• Use electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system
• Attend and participates in weekly operations meetings
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

 Equipment

• Forklift
• Pallet Jack
• Metal destruction machine
• Class B Box Truck

Experience

• Class B driving experience (two years preferred)
• Must hold an active Class B CDL and up-to-date driver medical card
• Warehouse and customer service experience strongly preferred

Computer Skills

• Knowledge of basic software like Microsoft is required

Educational Background

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
