Clearance Processing Specialist at Sparks Group

About the Job
Per the agency policies, this requires a candidate with NO INTEL experience and active SECRET clearance.
This position follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site/2 remote.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate Public Trust and National Security Clearance investigations for staff and contractors
- Provide access to e-QIP system, and ensure completion by applicants
- Monitor status of investigations, update case management system and handle returned investigations
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of clearances, determining suitability for access, and maintain all documentation
- Provide all forms, answer questions, and identify issues to present for resolution
- Support Specialists regarding suitability factors, completion of investigation forms and other criteria for determining suitability
- Utilize USAccess and DSCA as needed to prepare packages
- Assist in enrollment into Continuous Evaluation and Rapback
- Ensure all processes and NIST requirements are carried out in consistent and reliable manner
- Recommend, develop, and implement new procedures to foster efficiency
- Maintain report and spreadsheets related to security clearances
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 2+ years of relevant personnel experience
- Active Secret clearance required
- No Intel experience as per client policies
- Tier 3 of 5 background investigation or periodic reinvestigation within past 3 years required
- Willing to undergo periodic reinvestigation every 5 years
- Knowledge of USAccess, NBIS and DISS
- Experience with e-QIP initiation and review functions, PIPS/CVS applications via DCSA
- Knowledge of procedures and polices for personnel security program
- Ability to interact effectively with clients and officials/agencies
- Proficient with MS Office and Adobe
- Must be able to pass credit check and drug screen prior to start

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Hourly $32.00 to $36.00
